There is a newer edition of this document available. This standard covers the complete general and dimensional data for inch series threaded rod recognized as “American National Standard.” Included are diameters 4 through 4 inches UNC, UNF, 8UN, and ACME in both right and left handed threads. At this time there are no ISO Standards for Inch Threaded Rods. The inclusion of dimensional data in this standard is not intended to imply that all of the products described herein are stock production sizes. Consumers should consult with suppliers concerning lists of stock production sizes.
