Summary
This standard specifies a method with liquid medium for the enumeration of coliforms. It is applicable to milk and milk products. Inoculation of tubes with a selective culture medium and incubation. Examination of the tubes. Calculation of the number of coliforms per ml or g sample from the number of tubes in which gas formation has been noted.
