Determination of the hardness of butter

Summary

This document specifies a method for the determination of the hardness of butter. Vertical cutting of the butter sample cube, tempered on measuring temperature, with a horizontal cutting wire, which moves downwards at a constant speed. A measurement of power indicate the therefore required power in N (Newton). This power in N (Newton) is reported as the size of the hardness of butter.
