DIN 12463:2018-10

This standard specifies requirements for 200 mm bottles with standard ground joint with a nominal capacity of 100 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml, 1000 ml and 2000 ml for use in laboratories. This standard is intended to ensure that bottles with different nominal contents are to be used as interchangeable subparts of laboratory equipment. By defining a uniform height, they can be combined with various standard grinding machines beyond the given application examples, without the need for special designs for each bottle size. NOTE Bottles with a nominal capacity of 100 ml to 500 ml are preferably used for gas washing bottles. Bottles with a nominal capacity of 1000 ml and 2000 ml are preferably used for burettes with automatic zero adjustment and for filling pipettes.
