DIN 14677-1:2017-06

This standard specifies requirements for maintenance of electrically controlled systems for fire and/or smoke barriers in buildings. This standard gives recommendations for the evaluation of the competency of qualified companies and persons that carry out the maintenance work of systems for fire and/or smoke barriers. This standard does not cover requirements for the maintenance of fire and smoke barriers itself. This standard does not cover the legally required acceptance procedure by building inspection of systems for fire and smoke barriers respectively. This document has been prepared by national committee NA 031-02-06 AA 'Planning, commissioning and maintenance' in the DIN-Committee 'Fire detection and fire alarms systems'.
