DIN 17200:1988-03

The draft standard applies for semifinished products, hot-rolled or forged bars, wire rods, wide flats, plate, strip, hammer and drop forgings of steels, for quenching and tempering. It specifies the requirements concerning e.g. manufacturing process, delivery condition, chemical composition, mechanical properties, hardness, hardenability, technological properties, inner and outer soundness and includes specifications for heat-treatment and testing and marking the products.
