The standard applies to the installation of fire doors in solid masonry or concrete walls. It lays down the positions of the anchorage points for fire doors in relation to the wall openings. Several types of anchors and their dimensions which shall be used for these fire doors are also specified.*Furthermore, the standard includes directions for installations of a general nature as well as specific details with variations for installation, depending on each individual type of door. The rules serve to standardize the attachment of single or double wing doors which open in one direction only to the adjoining walls.
