The purpose of the standard is to determine the requirements for hinged or pivoted entrance doors to apartments and similar in corridors or on landings in accordance with prEN 14351-2, depending on the type of building. The standard applies to apartment entrance doors made of suitable materials and combinations thereof, irrespective of the type of material.
