The standard contains information on the carrying out of tests for the determination of load bearing capacity of hangers, substructures (framework) and mechanical fasteners according to DIN 18168-1, for which the load bearing capacity cannot be determined by calculation. In addition the standard also contains provisions on the supervision of material properties and the period of validity of the test certificates.
