Summary
This standard deals with the design, handling and installation of waterstops conforming to - DIN 7865-1 and DIN 7865-2, - DIN 18541-1 and DIN 18541-2. The waterstops are used to prevent the penetration of ground moisture, water and groundwater and to seal joints. They are embedded in concrete during the fabrication of joints between waterproof concrete members or structures conforming to the DIN 1045 series of standards.
