This supplement 2 to DIN 19051-2 describes two test sheets, consisting of 20 test sites according to DIN 19051-2 with the test signal no. 1 according to ISO 446, with each test field containing 11 test sets of characters with the test signal no. 1(200170140120100847060504235). The overlay is used to test the readability of (microfilm) pass cameras. Between each test fields are line arrays (line width of the dark or bright lines about 1 mm). This allows the synchronous running of original and microfilm in the ratio of the magnification of the recording (in the jargon called reduction factor) to be reviewed.
