Cut pit timber; square timber

Summary

This standard applies to dressed timber mainly used for inserts of main shafts as well as for lining and inserts of staple shafts. Dressed timber is cut from leaf or pinewood. It is of rectangular or square cross-section. Their width is of at least 6 cm and their width to high ratio is less than 3:1. Dressed timber whose greatest hight or width is equal or greater than 20 cm is refered to as ""beams"".
