Summary
This document applies to railway bodies with four point bearing respectively adjusting. In accordance to it the methods of measurement and calculation of static loads effective at the interface between body and running gear are to be defined. Below railway vehicles are understood as: Passenger coaches, railcars, service coaches and auxiliary vehicles. Power heads and locomotives are excluded explicitly.
Notes
Under certain conditions, DIN 25043-1 (2012-02) remains valid alongside this standard until 2016-02-01.
