DIN 25043-8:2012-02

This document applies to measuring for complete railway vehicles. The measuring of the vehicle respectively of the train unit will be executed on a measuring track, where the bodies are combined with the running gears according to engineering parameters. Unless a particular entry exists the nominal sizes respectively limiting sizes depend on the specific vehicle. These attributes of any measuring process as well as recurring measurings shall be agreed upon by the contractual partners. These measuring processes with appropriate measuring points are determined explicitly by separate drawings (appraisal drawings). Measuring results shall be documented by the inspection sheet. The inspection sheet shall be designed according to DIN 25043, parts 2, 3, 4 und 7.
