Summary
This document is to be applied to rooms (hot cells) surrounded by concrete shieldings intended for use in the remote handling of radioactive materials. It can be the subject either of plants for experimental purposes (for instance for the development of fuel assembles, raw materials (chemical processes) or of plants related to production (eg. production of sealed radioactive) sources, reprocessing of nuclear fuel or treatment of radioactive waste). This document contains examples for application of such plants and detailed explanations.
