This standard specifies requirements for tapping units of dispense systems for draught beverages as well as their mating dimensions. This standard is applicable to tapping units with non-return valve for use with beverage containers according to DIN 6647-1, DIN 6647 2 and DIN 6647-4, intended to be fitted to container connector sockets according to DIN 3542.
