This document specifies requirements and design for signs used in organised skiing areas. It is considered as basis for the classification of ski slopes in different levels of difficulty and for marking and signage in organised skiing areas. The determinations in this document do not cover areas in which road traffic regulations apply or which are covered by the domain of occupational safety, transport of dangerous goods or fire protection.
