This document specifies requirements and performance of signs used for cross-country tracks and cross-country skiing trails. This document is considered as a basis for classification of cross-country tracks in different levels of difficulty and for marking and signage of cross-country tracks and cross-country skiing trails. The determinations in this document do not cover areas in which road traffic regulations apply or which are covered by the domain of occupational safety, transport of dangerous goods or fire protection.
