This standard defines the conditions to which corrosion testing installations and corrosive media must conform, for the various spray-test methods. Its purpose is to provide the prerequisites to ensure that in all cases where corrosion spray tests are carried out, based on standards or to agreement, they are carried out under standardized conditions.
