This standard specifies a test method for sample digestion for determination of elements with the help of ICP-OES, ICP-MS, AAS or RFA for unused mineral oils, waste oil, water-based cooling lubricants and their emulsion, crude oil, oil from the food industry, oil sludge, grease, tar, pitch and other oil-like substances with high viscosity, which can contain depending on the origin one or more elements in a range of approximately 0,1 mg/kg or above.
