DIN 52354:2018-07

This standard specifies the headform impact test for testing the behaviour of safety glasses (toughened glass, laminated glass, plastics and glass-plastics-laminates) for a road vehicles under impact from a blunt bulky object. The dropping object is a 5 kg or 10 kg phantom head fitted with receivers for acceleration. This document does not apply to the testing of plastic specimens with the 10kg phantom head, where the requirements of DIN ISO 15082 'Road vehicles - Tests for rigid plastic safety glazing materials' apply.
