Testing of ion exchangers - Determination of the total capacity of anion exchangers

Summary

The determination of the total capacity of anion exchangers is carried out after method A for strongly basic anion exchangers and after method B for weakly basic anion exchangers. The determination of the capacity has to start with the chloride form of the strongly basic anion exchangers and with the free base form of the weakly basic anion exchangers. These methods are applicable to all typs of anion exchangers in granulated form.
