Summary
The document describes a rapid method for the determination of the non-volatione matter content of resins, resin solutions, binders, paints and varnishes at elevated temperature. A test portion of the product to be tested is spread on to an aluminium foil in a very thin layer so that a little retention of solvents and very short drying times (3 to 10 minutes) result.
