This Standard defines the technical delivery conditions for self centring, manually operated chucks for machine tools according DIN 6350-1 and DIN 6350-2 and according DIN 6351-1 und DIN 6351-2. For hand-operated chucks, which can not meet DIN 6350-1 and DIN 6350-2 and DIN 6351-1 and DIN 6351-2, these technical delivery conditions can be arranged between purchaser and supplier. With adopting of the international standard ISO 3089 to a national standard, DIN ISO 3089:2010-11 replaces DIN 6386-1:1977-05 partly.
