Summary
This standard characterizes the method and the device for the protective effect on suncare products through measurement of transmission. From the spectral transmittance, characteristic values for the protective effects in UV area are derived. The basis of the measurement of transmission described by the SF (Sun Factor) especially in DIN 67501.
