Summary

This standard specifies curative treatment against wood destroying fungi and/or insects in wood and wood-based products in service. It is applicable in connection with DIN 68800-1 to DIN 68800-3. Its application in other fields (furniture, interior fitments, works of art and similar) is recommended. Curative treatment against termites is requiring specific knowledge and it is therefore not covered by this standard.
