DIN 69090-1:2011-12

This standard DIN 69090-1 specifies the terms for system elements inside the overall system of the minimum quantity lubrication (MQL). Terms are defined in this standard and related to the machining with tools with geometrically defined cutting edges, mainly used for rotating tools.The overall system includes the basic structure of the standardized interfaces machine tool - MQL equipment - machine-side interface of the MQL tool holder - tool-side interface of the MQL tool holder and tools, as described in DIN 69090-1 to DIN 69090-3.
