Summary

This standard spplies to connectors for chain outbout shots which are components of stud link anchor chain cables as specified in DIN 81846-1. They are arranged between the chain outboard shot as given in DIN 81855 and the first shot of chain cable as given in DIN 81847. Connectors for chain outboard shots in accordance with this standard are not suitable for passing the cable lifters as given in DIN 84525 of capstand and windlasses.
