Summary

This standard applies to lashing links used as components of chain outboard shots as specified in DIN 81855. The lashing chain of the anchor lashing is fed through the empty space of the lashing links (enveloping circle d3). Thus the lashing links absorb the lashing forces introduced by the lashing chain.
