Summary

Isometric drawings are spatially clear and expressive and need only one projection. Therefore this mode of representation is applied in piping design of shipbuilding technology. This standard shall be conceived as a guideline bilingually in German and English. It shall assist the designer of piping in the elaboration of unified production documents. The requirements of CAD and CAM will be considered according to the actual state of art as well as with respect to recognisable future tendencies.
