Summary
The Part 3 of DIN 86210 specifies the requirements pertaining to the formation of pipe connectors on the decks of seagoing vessels for supply and disposal of fuel, lubricants and fluids respectively substances according to MARPOL. Benchmarks of lifting equipment for weight relief are defined. Furthermore, the taking of a fuel sample is regulated. This standard does apply to the retrofitting of ships at work with dry couplings.
