DIN EN 10247:2007-07

This European standard defines a method of microscopic nonmetallic inclusion assessment using picture charts. The method does not apply to inclusions of length less than 3 µm or smaller than 2 µm width. Defined by a product standard or an agreement between the involved parties for certain special products inclusions with a width below 2 µm can only be evaluated according their length.
