DIN EN 12101-3:2010-06

This European standard specifies requirements and gives methods for testing powered smoke and heat control ventilators that are intended to be installed as part of a powered smoke and heat control ventilation system. It also provides a procedure for approving a range of powered smoke and heat control ventilators and their motors, from a minimum number of tests.Different types of fans are identified: a) series produced fans for smoke and heat control ventilation; b) impulse/jet fans for smoke and heat control ventilation; c) non-series produced fans for smoke and heat control ventilation.
