Summary

This standard applies to the design and construction of machinery for the supply and/or circulation of coating and/or auxiliary materials under pressure to coating equipment. This machinery may include components such as pump units, pressure vessels and containers, pulsation damping devices, safety-, measuring-, and control equipment. The machinery may be fixed or mobile. The compliance with this standard shall presume the conformity with safety requirements of the European Directive for Machinery (89/392/EEC) and Atex Directive (94/9/EC).
