Summary
This European standard applies to the construction and manufacturing of mixing machinery for liquid coating materials used by vehicle refinishing and their coating material suppliers. Machinery under scope may be stationary or mobile and may include stirrers/vibrators, drive units and related devices, unpressured containers, safety-, measuring- and control devices as well heating systems and/or air conditioning. The compliance with this standard shall presume the conformity with safety requirements of the European Directive for Machinery (89/392/EEC) and Atex Directive (94/9/EC).
