This European Standard deals with special requirements and performance criteria for the design and construction of lining systems made of steel for free-standing concrete and steel chimneys. It identifies requirements to ensure mechanical resistance and stability of cylindrical liners according to the general requirements given in prEN 13084-1. Gas flow calculations to determine liner sizes are covered by prEN 13084-1.
