Summary
This draft European standard specifies requirements for the design and construction of metallic tanks wsith a maximum working pressure not exceeding 50 kPagauge used for the transport of dangerous goods by road and rail for which Tank Code with letter 'G' is given in chapter 3.2 of ADR. It also includes requirements for a system of identification of materials used in the construction of these tanks. This draft European standard is the revision of EN 13094:2009 taking into account the revisions to RID/ADR since 2009, the needs for certain detail improvements of the standard as well as the practical experience of use of the existing standard.
