This European Standard specifies requirements for design and construction of mixers and mixing machines. In the following, they are only referred to as mixing machines. The machines covered by this standard are used to mix fresh or frozen meat, meat products and fish. Domestic mixing machines are not included in this standard. This standard only applies to machines which are manufactured after the date of issue of this standard.
