Summary

This European Standard specifies a method for the digestion of foodstuffs under pressure intended for use in the determination of trace elements. This method has been collaboratively tested in combination with atomic absorption (flame, furnace, hydride, cold-vapour) techniques, ICP-MS. ICP-OES and voltametry may be used in combination with the measurement standards, which make reference to this one.
