Summary

This document specifies the test method for determining the resistance of timber to the pull through of timber fasteners. In this document 'timber' should be taken to include solid timber, glued laminated timber and wood based panels. The test method applies to all types of nails up to 8 mm diameter, and other dowel type fasteners, such as screws and staples.
