DIN EN 14888:2005-10

This document specifies two methods for the determination of the cadmium content of solid mineral fertilizers and rock phosphates after extraction with nitric acid. Organic fertilizers are not included in this standard. For detection in Method A flame-AAS is used. For detection in Method B ICP-OES is used. Due to the limits of quantification of the detection techniques, both methods are applicable for cadmium contents not less than 1 mg/kg.
