Summary
This document specifies a method for the determination of hydroxyl value of aliphatic and cyclic hydroxyl compounds with hydroxyl groups attached to primary and secondary carbon atoms. It is applicable to polyacetals, temperature sensitive materials, high solids polymer polyols and rigid polyols and phenols, but is not suitable for the determination of hydroxyl groups attached to tertiary carbon atoms.
