Summary
This document specifies two methods (method A and method B) for the determination of urea condensates in fertilizers using high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Method A specifies the determination of isobutylidenediurea and crotonylidenediurea. Method B specifies the determination of methylen-urea oligomers. The document is applicable to all fertilizers which do not contain interfering organic compounds. Both methods have been validated in inter-laboratory tests on European level.
