Summary

Static tests are commonly used for screening purposes and to provide an answer to whether the sulphidic waste material has a potential to be an acid producer or an acid neutraliser. The net acid production of the waste material is determined from the difference between the acid production potential (AP) and the acid neutralisation potential of the material (NP).
