Summary
To set the correct tyre inflation, this standard defines requirements and processes for the interoperability of the tyre pressure gauge (TPG) with the tyre information system (TIS) in the vehicle. Standardised interfaces and data exchange formats allowing advanced information, management and control between TPG and TIS. The architecture is open and scalable to support the different levels of interoperability from full interoperability to fully manual.
