DIN EN 1998-4:2007-01

This European Standard covers aspects of seismic design specific to pipelines and tanks on the basis of EN 1998-1 'Eurocode 8 - Design of structures for earthquake resistance - Part 1: General rules, seismic actions and rules for buildings'. The design of these constructions refers to systems and plants with common risk to health, life and environment. For greater risk and for more complex structures further considerations on national level may be appropriate.
