Summary
This International Standard comprises maximum lamp outlines for incandescent lamps (including tungsten-halogen lamps). Observance of the specifications in the data sheets in luminaire design will ensure mechanical acceptance of lamps complying with the standard in which such lamps are included. No account is taken of temperature requirements, which are listed separately in the relevant lamp specification.
