Summary
This document classifies the groups of environmental parameters and their severities, to which a product is subjected, while being transported from one place to another after being made ready for dispatch from the manufacturing factory. The most commonly used methods of transportation have been taken into account including road transport, rail transport, water transport, air transport and vertical transport.
Notes
A transition period, as set out in DIN EN IEC 60721-3-2 (2018-12), exists until 2021-03-30.
