Summary
This standard ist applicable to lamps, (filament lamps, discharge lamps and LED light sources) to be used in headlamps, foglamps and signalling lamps for road vehicles. It is especially applicable to those lamps which are listed in IEC 60809. However the standard may also be used for other lamps falling under the scope of this standard.
Notes
DIN EN 60810 (2009-05) remains valid alongside this standard until 2016-03-21.*A transition period, as set out in DIN EN 60810 (2016-06), exists until 2018-01-20.
