DIN EN 62729:2013-06

This International Standard specifies performance requirements and methods of testing for shipborne equipment for use for long-range identification and tracking (LRIT). It describes requirements set by 'International Convention for Safety of Life at Sea' (SOLAS) which have been applied by 'International Maritime Organization' (IMO). In case of German Version of EN 60945 setting different requirements the ones given by this German version of EN 62729 apply. Shipborne equipment for long-range identification and tracking demonstrates compliance with SOLAS V/19 1.6 when tested and fulfilling the requirements according to this standard.
